San Antonio Gears Up for Fiesta

Viva Fiesta! One of the largest and longest-running festivals in the United States is set to kick off in San Antonio April 10th. It lasts for eighteen days and is jam-packed with dance, music, food and fun.

This will be Fiesta’s 123rd year to celebrate the brave heroes of the Alamo and Battle of San Jacinto. The festival represents authentic San Antonio culture and is known for an incredible array of street dancing, lively music and beautiful art.

Fiesta’s impact on the local economy, however, is commonly overlooked. The city-wide party injected some $284 million into the local economy in 2007 and employs local services to help run the event. Tickets just went on sale -- you can buy them online or drop by the Fiesta Store located at 2611 Broadway in San Antonio.

Fiesta San Antonio has offered family-friendly for over one century. From parades to carnival rides, there’s something for everyone -- so bring the whole family!

Fiesta San Antonio is waiting for you!
