To our Homeowners:
In light of the recent events and governmental restrictions pertaining to the COVID-19 virus, Legend Homes is taking extra precautions while providing services to our homeowners. In an attempt to help slow the spread of the virus and ensure the safety and well-being of both our customers and employees, our warranty personnel have been provided with gloves, face masks and shoe coverings to be worn for any warrantable repairs.
Please understand that due to the initial shut-down of services during the Stay At Home order, both Legend Homes, as well as our supporting vendors have received an influx of request that we are doing our best to work through. Service requests will be issued in the order in which they are received, and we will do our best to ensure that we answer your needs in a timely manner. After submitting for a request, you will receive an email from our warranty staff regarding our COVID-19 service procedures, as well as a few questions that we will need answered as well.
1. Have you or someone in your household recently been diagnosed with or exposed to COVID-19?
2. Are you currently experiencing, or within the last 14 days experienced, a fever or symptoms of COVID-19, including cough or shortness of breath, sore throat, muscle aches and pains, chills, and/or loss of taste or smell
3. Have you been in close contact with any person who has been confirmed for COVID-19 within the last 14 days?
We ask that you read over this document, and reply back with an email stating that you have read and agree to the procedures. Your request will not be processed until we receive this confirmation back from you so, so please be sure to be on the look-out for this document.
Upon arrival to a property, if any occupants are exhibiting symptoms of illness, our warranty team will use their discretion before entering a property and may need to reschedule the appointment for a future date.
To better help serve you we would like to remind you of some important contact numbers should you need them in case of an emergency. Please remember that there are 24 hour help lines that you can call for the below listed companies should you need them. After hours we want to be sure that your needs are being taken care of. Please remember that these numbers after hours are strictly for emergencies only. HOME of Texas Limited Warranty
A new home is a major investment with great potential to appreciate in value. By including the HOME of Texas Limited Warranty on your new home, Princeton Classic Homes backs up their reputation with a written insured warranty. This warranty assures the homeowner that warranted defects will be corrected according to specified guidelines throughout the term of the warranty. The HOME Limited Warranty is available only through approved Members of the HOME program. To qualify, builders must meet stringent membership criteria including Professional Building Ethics, Financial Stability, and Technical Competence. Additionally, Members are re-screened annually to assure that they continue to meet these standards as years go by.
Princeton Classic Homes is proud to be a Member of the HOME Warranty Program. When you are provided with a HOME Limited Warranty, you can be certain that your home was built by a quality-conscious professional. The HOME of Texas Limited Warranty is fully insured by Warranty Underwriters Insurance Corporation (WUIC), a Texas P & C company, which is approved and audited by the Texas Department of Insurance. Builders in the HOME program have an excellent record of fulfilling the terms of the warranty; however, unforeseen circumstances can sometimes prevent a builder from keeping his or her commitments. As a homeowner, you have the confidence of knowing all warranted items will be covered by HOME’s insurers if the unexpected occurs.
